The Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) recently announced that Comerica Bank was a recipient of the non-profit organization's 2012 Corporate ONE Award, which honored corporations that provide exceptional procurement opportunities to minority business owners.
Criteria for the Corporate ONE award includes having an established minority supplier development program, reporting minority purchases on a quarterly basis, maintaining membership in the MMSDC’s Project ONE program, and sponsoring an exhibit at the Michigan Minority Procurement Conference and Opportunity Exchange.
In addition to honoring this year’s winners, the MMSDC Corporate ONE Awards highlighted those corporations that have demonstrated longevity in their commitment to supplier diversity. Comerica was recognized for having won the Corporate ONE Award for 10 or more years.
