Financial Services Roundtable's Judy Chapa presents Community Leadership Award to Comerica's Chief Diversity Officer, Linda Forte |
For the second consecutive year, Comerica has received a Community Service Leadership Award from the Financial Services Roundtable. The award, which recognizes member companies for their commitment to volunteerism and community service, was presented by Judy Chapa, Vice President, Community Services, Financial Services Roundtable to Linda Forte, Comerica's Senior Vice President, Business Affairs and Chief Diversity Officer during the 2013 Honorary Congressional Host Committee reception on June 26 in Washington D.C.
Comerica was one of 21 financial institutions awarded the honor, and was judged on criteria including the bank's commitment to community service at the executive level, depth and breadth of colleague involvement, and efforts to serve people in need and improve financial literacy.
“It’s such an honor for Comerica to receive this award for two consecutive years," said Forte. Comerica colleagues work continuously to improve the communities where we live and operate, and should be extremely proud of the recognition our company receives from the Financial Services Roundtable. This award reinforces our company’s strong commitment to helping people be successful.”
The Financial Services Roundtable represents 100 of the largest integrated financial services companies that provide banking, insurance and investment products and services.
