Comerica Bank Earns National Recognition for Hispanic Diversity

DALLAS, Sept. 22, 2022Comerica Bank and its efforts to ensure a diverse workforce received national recognition as it earned a 5-star rating of excellence in the 2022 HACR Corporate Inclusion Index, and was recently named Top Employer for Latino Leaders by National Diversity Council.

This marks the second consecutive year Comerica has received five stars – the highest marking – in the HACR Corporate Inclusion Index, a research initiative conducted by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR). The index assists in benchmarking the status of Hispanic diversity and inclusion in corporate America by focusing on four fields that include employment, procurement, philanthropy and governance.

Comerica is one of five national companies named a 2022 Top Employers for Latino Leaders by the National Diversity Council. The list honors organizations for their extraordinary and unfailing commitment to Latinos in the workplace and surrounding communities. These companies contribute to creating and promoting a culture where Latino talent is supported and leveraged for organizational success. They demonstrate leadership excellence and high visibility in the Latino community and maintain a record of professional accomplishments.

The recognitions come at the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the period from September 15 to October 15 set to celebrate the contributions and influence of Latin Americans.
