DALLAS/April 30, 2004 - Comerica Bank-Texas Division will break ground on a new Collin County branch on Thursday, May 6, at 10 a.m. The new branch will be located at the southeast corner of Chapel Hill and the North Dallas Tollway, across from The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano. This branch is expected to open in October 2004.
Attending the event will be Plano Mayor Pat Evans, Plano Chamber of Commerce President Brad Shanklin, Comerica Bank-Texas Division Advisory Board Chairman Raymond Nasher, Comerica Bank-Texas Division President/CEO Charles Gummer, and other special guests.
Comerica’s Collin County expansion plans include a second new branch to open in November at the southwest corner of McDermott and Central Expressway/Hwy-75N in Allen. This site, the former location of a Luby’s Cafeteria, will be remodeled into a full-service branch with drive-in banking capabilities.
Current Comerica locations in the Collin County area include 3310 Premier Road, Plano, and 8612 Preston Road, Suite 114, Plano.
