Comerica Promotes Gladys Sevilla as New El Segundo Branch Manager

CALIFORNIA/October 5, 2004 - Comerica Bank has promoted Gladys Sevilla to manager for its El Segundo branch. Sevilla has been with Comerica since January 2003. Comerica’s El Segundo branch, located at 2301 Rosecrans Avenue, opened in June 2004.

With more than seven years’ experience in banking, Ms. Sevilla has served in management roles for financial institutions in Los Angeles, Monterey Park and Montebello. Over the years, she has also been involved as a Junior Achievement mentor and member of the Latin Business Association.

Comerica’s El Segundo branch represents the beginning of the bank’s major expansion in the California market. A new Pasadena branch is scheduled to open the week of October 18, and Comerica plans to open seven additional, full-service California branches this year, in Huntington Beach, La Jolla, Studio City, San Jose, Foster City, Newport Beach, and San Mateo. Additional Comerica expansion is planned for 2005.

The Western Division of Comerica Bank includes 42 branch offices in the key California markets of San Jose, Sacramento, Fresno, the greater San Francisco Bay/San Jose area, Santa Cruz Coastal, greater Los Angeles/Orange County, and San Diego.
