Comerica Upgrades Web Bill Pay Service

DETROIT/March 3, 2005 - Comerica Incorporated today announced it has upgraded its Web Bill Pay service to allow customers to make bill payments faster -- often the next day -- and easier than ever.

Next-day payments can now be made to numerous companies across the country. Other enhancements to Comerica Web Bill Pay include a streamlined payment center that allows customers to view and manage their payment activity on one page; the ability to add new bills just by entering the payee's phone number; automatic bill reminders via e-mail; and confirmation numbers -- provided for each payment made for your reference.

"We continually look for ways to improve the online service provided to customers," notes Michael J. Tierney, senior vice president, Personal Financial Services for Comerica. "Comerica began providing online check images to customers late last year, and additional enhancements to our Web Banking service are planned for later this year."

Comerica has one of the fastest and most reliable web banking services in the country, according to Gomez, Inc., an internet performance management company that measures the transaction performance of popular online banking sites.
