Comerica Sponsors the Moscow Ballet’s ‘Nutcracker’

Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Grand Rapids. Underwritten by a $50,000 grant from Comerica, the world-renown Russian ballet company will delight audiences with three local performances:

Nov. 1, at the State Theatre in Kalamazoo

Nov. 2, at the WK Kellogg Auditorium in Battle Creek

Nov. 3, at DeVos Hall in Grand Rapids

"This is the second consecutive year we’ve had the pleasure to sponsor the Moscow Ballet in West Michigan," said Joe Davio, regional president of Comerica’s Grand Rapids area. "The Moscow Ballet company is an important part of the fabric of the West Michigan community and we’re proud to ensure that this rich relationship continues."

Comerica’s sponsorship also enables members of the ballet company to visit with some very special patients at DeVos Children’s Hospital, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. In addition, ballet members will visit with the Grand Rapids Big Brother’s/Big Sister’s Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. in the President Ford Room at the Amway Grand Plaza.
