Comerica to Offer No-Fee Checking to Businesses

DETROIT/January 14, 2002 -- Comerica Bank (Michigan) is offering small businesses an opportunity to save money when they open a business checking account at Comerica.

Businesses who open new Small Business Checking Plus or Standard Business Checking accounts between now and March 29, 2002, will have their monthly maintenance and transaction fees waived for one year. They also will receive free Comerica Web Banking for Business, free Comerica Web Bill Pay for Business for six months, free no-annual fee overdraft protection, a free initial order of checks and a free Business Check Card with no annual fee.

Customers who open new business checking accounts also are eligible for fee waivers on a personal checking account, home equity loan and stock trade.
