DETROIT/January 17, 2002 -- Comerica Bank today announced the opening of its first branch in Woodhaven, Mich. The new office is located at 23120 Allen Road, at the corner of West and Allen Roads.
Comerica’s Woohaven office is approximately 3,200 square feet and features a drive-up ATM and Self-Serve Security Boxes, which allow customers to store important papers and other critical items in a secured box that they can access conveniently on their own, without assistance from branch staff.
Stephen Pente will manage the new Woodhaven office. Pente has been with Comerica for 14 years. Most recently he served as manager of Comerica’s Melvindale office.
In celebration of the opening, customers will receive special promotional offers between January 21 and February 22, including:
No maintenance or transaction fees for 12 months on a personal Regular Checking account,
50 percent discount on a 12-month Self-Serve Security Box rental,
Two percent Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on a three-month fixed-rate Time Deposit Account (TDA) or Individual Retirement Account TDA, and
No maintenance fees for 12 months on a Money Market Investment Account.
Business customers who open a new Small Business Checking or Standard Business Checking accounts between now and March 29, 2002, will have their monthly maintenance and transaction fees waived for one year. They also will receive free Comerica Web Banking for Business, free Comerica Web Bill Pay for Business for six months, free no-annual fee overdraft protection, a free initial order of checks and a free Business Check Card with no annual fee.
The Woodhaven office is Comerica’s 162nd branch in Southeast Michigan. The branch lobby and drive-in are open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
