Comerica Hosts Seminar to Help Small Businesses With Their Business Plan

DETROIT/June 10, 2004 -Comerica Bank will host a seminar for small business owners "The Business Plan -- Helping You Reach Your Goals" on Wednesday, June 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Walsh College Troy Campus. A pre-workshop continental breakfast will begin at 8 a.m.

The seminar is part of a comprehensive series of workshops sponsored by Comerica that are designed to help small business owners succeed.

Lynda Earhart, a business consultant with the Oakland County Planning and Economic Development Business Center, and Dan DeRyckere, a vice president with Comerica’s Small Business Lending division, will walk business owners through the steps required to develop or maintain their business plan. Business owners will learn the components of a business plan, how to organize it, how to stay fully informed of their finances, and how to prepare what lenders will look for in evaluating their loan request.

Cost for the workshop is $50 for Comerica customers and $75 for non-Comerica clients and $25 for each additional participant from the same company.
