Comerica Provides Hurricane Relief

DETROIT, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Comerica Incorporated (NYSE: CMA) today announced that the Comerica Charitable Foundation will contribute $50,000 to the American Red Cross "Hurricane 2005 Relief Fund" to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

In addition, during the month of September, Comerica's more than 360 branch offices nationwide will accept donations in the form of checks made payable to the American Red Cross.

"As the need grows daily for relief due to the devastation and destruction of Hurricane Katrina, all of us at Comerica are anxious to do something to help," said John D. Lewis, vice chairman. "The contribution from our charitable foundation and the acceptance of donations through our branch offices are intended to help the American Red Cross as it helps meet the critical needs of victims of this disaster."
