Waxahachie's Clare Bird is Only Texas Winner of Comerica's National Quality Excellence Award
DALLAS/May 15, 2006 – Clare Bird, a member of Comerica Bank’s Waxahachie Banking Center staff, has been named a winner in Comerica’s National Quality Excellence Awards competition. Charles Gummer, Comerica Bank-Texas Market president, presented Bird’s award to her at a May 3 ceremony at the Waxahachie Banking Center.
Comerica customers and colleagues, as well as city and county government officials, attended the ceremony. Waxahachie Mayor Jay Barksdale was present to declare May 3 as “Clare Bird Day in Waxahachie.
