DETROIT, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Comerica Bank today announced the introduction of two new credit cards for small businesses -- a MasterCard® Platinum Business Rewards Card and a MasterCard® Business Travel Rewards Card. Comerica introduced a MasterCard® BusinessCard for small businesses earlier this year.

"We have had such a great response to our consumer rewards cards that we wanted to offer a similar opportunity to our small business customers," notes Cassandra McKinney, senior vice president and national product and sales management director. "The introduction of the Platinum Business Rewards and Travel Rewards cards continues our efforts to enhance the service we provide to our small business customers, including a complete array of products."

The MasterCard Platinum Business Rewards Card has no annual fee and allows business customers to earn one point for every $1 charged to their account. The MasterCard Business Travel Rewards Card, which has a $55 annual fee, allows businesses to earn two points for every dollar spent on travel and lodging, and one point for every $1 charged to their account for other purchases. Points earned on both cards can be redeemed for merchandise, gift certificates, cash back and travel. Small business owners can determine how the rewards points are redeemed -- either by being awarded to each individual card account or pooled together. There is no cap on the number of points that can be earned on each card. The new small business rewards cards were developed through Comerica's alliance with Elan Financial Services.
