Comerica Bank, Comerica Charitable Foundation Give More Than $2.6 Million in Michigan During Spring Grant Season

DETROIT, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Comerica announced today that Comerica Bank and the Comerica Charitable Foundation awarded 587 grants in Michigan during Comerica's Spring Grant Season totaling nearly $2.7 million.

  Included among the grants awarded were:
  --  $100,000 to LISC Detroit in support of the Neighborhoods NOW program;
  --  $100,000 to Detroit 300 Conservancy, in support of Campus Martius Park
      summer programming;
  --  $25,000 to Golightly Career and Technical Center, in support of the
      Academy of Finance;
  --  $20,000 to the Arab American National Museum, in support of Global
      Thursdays programming; and
  --  $10,000 to Boys and Girls Club of Detroit, in support of the Career
      Launch/Money Management Program.

In Michigan, the Comerica Charitable Foundation awards grants at the end of four grant seasons throughout the year with a primary focus on programs supporting economic self-sufficiency for low and moderate income individuals and families; neighborhood revitalization; education; access to health care; and programs supporting diversity and inclusion.
