BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Charles H. Tashjian has been named Retail Market Manager for Comerica's Florida market.

In this new role, he is responsible for the bank's retail business in Florida, including personal banking, mortgage and small business services.

Tashjian, senior vice president, has been with Comerica for 33 years, most recently serving as a regional manager for the bank's Wealth and Institutional Management in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He received his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and is a graduate of the University of Michigan's Banking & Financial Services Executive Program. He carries NASD securities licenses 7, 66, and 24.

Tashjian and his wife, Marcy Montante, reside in Highland Beach, FL.

Comerica has been in Florida since 1979 and specializes in wealth management, middle-market lending, small-business services, automobile dealer services, commercial real estate and private lending. The bank has some 130 employees in Florida who build the business through strong client relationships.
