Comerica Launches Campaign Encouraging Customers to Go 'Paperless'

DALLAS/May 4, 2009 -- Comerica Bank has launched a campaign to encourage customers to help the environment by receiving their statements electronically rather than on paper. If it reaches its goal of having 180,000 customers convert to "eStatements," Comerica will donate 50,000 trees to the Nature Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that preserves the plants, animals and natural communities on Earth.

Comerica is encouraging its customers to go paperless as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability. Under Comerica's Corporate Sustainability Program, the bank works to conduct its business and operations in a way that enhances the well being of people and the communities in which they live, and protects and preserves the environment for future generations.

To go paperless, customers simply log in to Comerica Web BankingSM and select eStatements on the "Accounts" tab and then select "Stop Paper Statements." Comerica's Business Connect customers who want to go paperless can call (800) 852-3649.
