Comerica Bank Collects Record 1,230 Dresses During 2018 North Texas Prom Dress Drive

Five Dallas-area banking centers (Cole-Fitzhugh, Forest-Inwood, NorthPark, Parker-Premier and Preston Center) collected a North Texas Prom Dress Drive record 1,230 new or gently-used, formal dresses as well as accessories from fellow colleagues, clients and the community in February. Comerica has donated more than 3,200 dresses to Dallas CASA and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas in the last four years.

This year, Comerica Bank received a generous donation of several hundred new dresses from Gala Formal, located in Grapevine Mills Mall.

All donations benefit local teen girls served by Dallas CASA and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, who otherwise may not be able to afford formal attire and experience the high school tradition of prom.

Members of the Comerica North Texas Women’s Forum helped set up the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas prom dress boutique and assisted with the shopping experience this week. Comerica volunteers also sorted dresses for Dallas CASA’s private shopping events, hosted by its Children’s Council, earlier this month.
