This is the second time I’ll be speaking at a Comerica Bank Women’s Business Symposium event and I’m looking forward to connecting with many women business leaders,” said Leeza Gibbons. “Last year, I served as the keynote speaker at the Detroit event. The audience was a phenomenal group of women who shared common interests and professional goals. I have no doubt this year’s symposium in Orange County will be just as fantastic.”

Comerica began the Symposiums more than 10 years ago in California. The sell-out success of the event prompted the bank to expand the initiative in other key markets across the country, giving women professionals more opportunities for valuable leadership development content and enhanced networking. The events allow participants to “Learn, Connect & Grow” with other influential businesswomen within their communities.

“Hosting this fabulous event for more than a decade demonstrates our continued support of the local business community,” said Judy Love, Executive Vice President, Comerica Bank. “We are proud of the program we’ve developed year after year that focuses on helping women become stronger leaders while balancing many different responsibilities.”

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Girls Inc. of Orange County. The nonprofit organization positively changes the lives of 4,000 girls – kindergarten to 18 years old – each year by providing year-round holistic, compensatory and intentional programming focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math), financial literacy, sound body image, healthy relationships, and college and career readiness.

Chef Jamie Gwen will again serve as the emcee for the event. Gwen is a Culinary Institute of America graduate, celebrity chef, syndicated radio host, certified sommelier and a seven-time cookbook author.
