Comerica Bank Announces Hiring of Three External Affairs Managers to Serve Arizona, Florida and California Markets

DALLAS, December 4, 2018 – Comerica Incorporated (NYSE: CMA) announced the hiring of three External Affairs Managers to serve the Arizona, Florida and California markets.

Summer Faussette, Monique “Mo” Corker and Sonya Trac will work closely with the bank’s non-profit community partners as well as other stakeholders in the key regions Comerica serves. One of their main priorities is the development of programs with non-profits that teach financial literacy, entrepreneurship and economic development.

Summer Faussette will serve as Assistant Vice President, External Affairs for the Arizona Market after spending 15 years in the financial services industry. Faussette has a wealth of experience with previous positions at Wells Fargo Private Bank, First Fidelity and USAA Federal Savings prior to joining the retail side of Comerica Bank in September 2017.

With 19 years of community involvement Faussette has been able to impact the lives of many. Most recently working with WeMar Cares, Diverse Segments, local underserved schools and serving on the board of an inner-city church helping the community with financial awareness and financial literacy.

Monique “Mo” Corker joins Comerica Bank as Assistant Vice President, External Affairs for the Florida Market. Prior to joining Comerica, Corker worked for Bank of America for sixteen years with her last position serving as Vice President, Financial Center Operations Manager.

Corker is active in the South Florida community through her role with the nonprofit Handling Risky Business which is designed to empower at-risk youth and enhance financial literacy. In addition, she founded the ‘Girl Bee You’ Workshop that is designed to prepare young women to deal with the everyday stresses girls face.

Sonya Trac joins Comerica as Assistant Vice President, External Affairs for the Northern California Market. Her previous experience includes positions with the Silicon Valley Children’s Fund and Teenforce, where she served as an Employment Program Manager. Trac has also volunteered with numerous non-profit organizations through Santa Clara County.

In addition to her non-profit experience, Trac also held positions at Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America and Bridge Bank.

Trac is based in San Jose and will serve as the face of Comerica in the Bay Area and Northern California community as does Hayana Kwon in the Southern California Community. Kwon has served as a public affairs manager with Comerica for the past five years. Previously, she worked for the bank as a relationship manager.
