Comerica Bank Promotes Efren Avalos to Senior Vice President, Credit Administration Officer

DALLAS, Sept. 15, 2021 – Comerica Bank announced today that Efren Avalos has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Credit Administration Officer, focused on Business Banking in North and South Texas. Avalos reports to Tami Ruderer, Divisional Credit Administration Officer, Private Banking and Business Banking.

Avalos has been with Comerica for 14 years, joining the organization through the Credit Training Program in 2007, where he started as a Credit Analyst. He has worked in various roles with increasing responsibility and scope. He spent eight years as a Relationship Manager supporting Business Banking. In 2017, Avalos joined the Underwriting Center as Vice President and Manager of Commercial Underwriting, initially supporting Business Banking and later expanding to support Middle Market and US Banking.

Avalos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Finance and minor in Accounting from Oklahoma State University.
