Comerica Bank to Unveil Renovated Brighton Banking Center with New Enhanced Customer Experience Design
Comerica to host ceremony on Nov. 2 and present $5,000 donation to Livingston County United Way launching new community partnership focused on workforce development

Detroit, Oct. 26, 2022 – Comerica Bank will officially unveil the newly redesigned and renovated Brighton banking center, located at 5671 Whitmore Lake Road, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, with a grand reopening ceremony. Comerica will also launch a new nonprofit community partnershipfin with Livingston County United Way that will include a $5,000 donation to bolster workforce development initiatives.

The interior and exterior renovations feature an open layout with clear sightlines to welcome customers, and multiple areas in which customers can have comfortable conversations with the banking center team. Other additions include new furniture, digital messaging displays, and updated signage and color scheme to reflect Comerica’s new brand elements.

“From the moment someone enters the door, we want them to feel connected and supported, and we have created an environment that accomplishes just that,” said Debra Van Hevele, Comerica Bank senior vice president and retail regional director. “As we reinvest in banking centers across the state, like Brighton, it enhances our ability to build meaningful relationships and serve as a trusted partner for our customers.”

Comerica continues to evolve its banking center model and streamline the customer experience by integrating opportunities for more consultative, advisory and educational interactions between the community and banking center team.

Livingston County United Way and Workforce Development

As a part of the reopening, Comerica is launching a new partnership with Livingston County United Way focused on workforce development and will donate $5,000 to the nonprofit’s efforts.

“We are excited and honored to be partnering with Comerica to ensure ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families are able to reduce and/or eliminate barriers to stable employment,” said Anne Rennie, Executive Director for Livingston County. “For many of these households, they have full-time jobs, but still fall short of stability. These barrier busting funds will help to ensure an unforeseen expense does not cause a negative impact to their employment or schooling.”

Livingston County United Way is a Brighton-based nonprofit that partners with other nonprofits, for-profits, and governmental and faith-based organizations to address the most critical needs of community residents, such as health, financial stability, and education.
